1. Describe a memorable learning experience
A memorable learning experience would be when my dad taught me how to prepare the main dish for dinner which was spaghetti. I never really cooked, I was used to my parents making me dinner or making myself a microwavable dinner. That day dad called me over and told me exactly that I was going to learn how to make this and I have to make it all by myself next time. So I asked questions about cooking the ground beef and the spaghetti noodles. My dad and I bonded and it was a very funny experience that's why I remember it the most. It’s good that he taught me how to cook a main dish.
2. What is your vision for the ideal school?
My ideal vision of a school is having the students do a lot of the projects and work in school and not at home so the the teachers can interact with the students and make sure that the students understands the work. I also think that there should be life skills classes for the students to know how to be a good person and student.
3. What do you need to learn? &How would you learn it best?
I think that we need to learn life skills, social skills, studying skills, and responsibility. With life skills students will know how to be better people and how not to make the wrong choices. We need Social skills because everyone should know how to talk to people no matter what their age is and in the appropriate way. Studying skills because we also need to be good in school and studying will help each student become a better learner. We also need to learn responsibility because students have to know how to take care of themselves and how to avoid bad situations.

Journal #31: What is your passion ?
1. I have a passion for putting myself in positions or activities where i get to meet new people and do new things.
2. My experiences have been in paddling, brown bags to stardom and being a football manager. I've got to do many new things that i love doing and i met a lot of new people.
3. I like to take this through out my whole life because it will help me become a very social person and it gives me a lot of courage and confidence to meet and talk to new people. I would like to stretch this through doing other activities around school that will get me involved and something where i will be around people.

Journal 20-Risky Beauty
Firework displays in Hawaii never gets old. To start off the new year, once it hits midnight many beautiful aerials light up the dark sky. Families begin to light up any fireworks that they have, so nothing goes to waste. But with fireworks there are some health problems involved that is dangerous to both the environment and our health. When fireworks are set off the chemicals react and then they leave a large trail of smoke in the air that lingers around until it fades. Firework shows generate about 90 tons of sky-borne lead pollution. The smoke in the air causes people to have a hard time breathing. 13.5% of Hawaii's population has a hard time breathing. Even thought firworks may be beautiful and fun to play with they do become risky and do create both environmental and health problems.

Journal #15
Thesis:Teenagers should take sex education classes which teaches kids the broad spectrum of sex education, including safe sex,STDs,contraceptives, the causes of sex, teen pregnancy, and more.
Con: Sex education shouldn't be offered at schools and instead students should take the abstinence only until marriage program which teaches abstinence until marriage also it does not bring up safe sex, contraceptives, or any of the causes of having sex.
2 Pros:
-Teenagers who are in abstinence programs are just as likely to have premarital sex as those who are in sex education classes.
-Students should take the sex education class because it teaches you everything about sex, and the effects of sex if you do it. It's the teens decision to think what they want to think.
They can choose not to have sex and stick to abstinence but its better to know, just in case they decided to change their way of thinking.

Journal 9- The perks of being a wall flower
My novel that i read which is the perks of being a wall flower is an example of coming of age because charlie experiences a lot of things, like going to high school, cliques and knowing which people to make friends with. Charlie also goes and experiences the crazy parties with drugs and girls. Charlie gets his permit which is a coming of age experience for most of us teens.

First Blog- Writing Experience and Goals
To tell you the truth at the beginning of freshmen year I really wasn't that good at writing. My essays never had that kind of depth that the other students had, and it just wasn't very detailed. But towards the second semester of last year I began to get better at writing, my scores have been increasing to three's than two's. The comments also have been getting better, saying that my voice comes through my writing. I guess having to do those essays were a building ground for me, because the more I did them the more I got better at it and the more I understood about how I could improve on my next essay. I really enjoyed writing personal stories about my life, those really gave me the chance to show people who I am through my words. Writing essays that are not about yourself and about other things for example the KC3 essays. Writing essays like that bring out the best in me, i get deep into a situation that's affecting the world and I express myself through what is being written.
My writing goals for this year is to be able to get all of my thoughts and ideas organized so when I write them and put them all together, it will flow and make sense. I also want to expand my vocabulary, and to find words that have more depth and that will make my writing piece better. I know that I still need to work on the six traits.
